We are feeling proud of our team (again!) after one of our engineers was chosen to provide specialist support for British Airways in Lyon.
On the request of British Airways, our engineer was flown over to Lyon (courtesy of the airline) to assist with moving their existing telephone system to new premises. Due to the age of the new building and the complexity of the move, our engineer was called in to work alongside France Telecom to manage the re-housing of the telephone system. Initially our engineer carried out a detailed survey of the building to ensure it could house the telephone system, then once he was satisfied it met their requirements the system was moved across.
Our MD, Jane Cockcroft, commented; “We’ve been working with British Airways for almost 7 years now and are regularly in contact with them for remote service upgrades and repairs to their other sites in Frankfurt & Zurich. It’s a great compliment to have a global corporation such as BA specifically requesting the skills of one of our engineers. We highly value our team and are proud of the expertise they have – to have this recognised on a European level is amazing.”
Paul Knight, British Airways added; “Thanks to Datasharp’s efforts the relocation of our telephone system in France was carried out seamlessly and we were back up and running on time. I found their engineer to be a professional, knowledgeable and tireless worker – it was a pleasure working with him.”
