Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting a very motivating Business Cornwall event – The Big Debate on the subject of Hosted Services. Our Technical Director, Allan and one of our Project Managers, Ben were joined by Clearflow, Kelsall Steele, St Austell Brewery & Toby Parkins to discuss how hosted solutions can play a vital part in the smooth running of any business’ operation.
The consistent message during the debate was that businesses need to be fully aware of the technology available to them so that they can make an informed decision of what truly works for their business. Security & service continuity issues were raised and it was unanimously agreed that the key to successfully using this technology was to choose a reliable, trustworthy supplier.
The debate also covered fragmented & mobile workforces and how hosted services can address the issues these raise. One of the main elements being the ability to have remote access day & night to your business.
Allan summed up the debate; “It’s exciting times for us and for our customers – if there’s one thing we should all take away from this discussion today, it’s that the latest technology and its capabilities have to be at the forefront of any organisation’s thinking if they are going to stay at the top of their game. Whichever technology you choose to use, make sure you are making the most of it.”
Thank you again to our wonderful customers for sharing your thoughts and making the debate so interesting & informative.
